Start with the record
A platform estimate is a guess until the team agrees which record the system owns. The customer, the order, the shipment, the case — one of them is the center. Everything else refers to it.
Write the exceptions
The happy path is not the scope. The reversal, the partial delivery, the application that waits for a document: those are the pages that decide the size of the work.
Then estimate
With the boundary and the exceptions named, a timeline is a plan instead of a wish. This article is sample writing for the demonstration site.
